Preparation for LIGNA: Press preview in Hanover
LIGNA is one of the largest international trade fairs for the timber-processing industry. It is important to us, our customers and the trade press. It is already casting a long shadow into the future: on February 14th, the organisers of this trade fair invited journalists from around the world and representatives from 30 exhibitors to a press event at the Hanover exhibition site in Germany. They discussed issues such as technology, trends and the hot topics for the future of the timber and forestry industry.
Doppstadt also took part in the LIGNA press discussions. Daniel Kürten and Thomas Willeke presented our core areas of expertise, "Timber and Forestry", to trade journalists from Europe, North America and Asia. This is because it is still the case that not enough companies are aware of just what we can offer. Most of them know who we are when it comes to recyclable materials. Our machine solutions can shred, split, wash and separate just about any primary material.
But we are also involved in forestry and biomass! Our "Forestry" division supplies machines and processes for recovering biomass from the forestry and timber industry, and the sawmill and chipboard industry. Our complete product range for biomass production in a forest environment consists of ten large-scale chippers, each with a different set of equipment, and our flexible, adjustable screening machines.
You can see these in May, at stand L66/1 on the LIGNA trade fair open-air site. And for those of you who simply can't wait that long, here's a short film that will give you an impression of what the Doppstadt Forestry division is all about:
