Compost treatment
Composting is divided into two cycles: green waste composting and biowaste composting. In green waste composting, the material is first shredded before the shredded material is piled into windrows and finally screened. Screening is not only used for particle size fractionation, but also has the important function of removing non-biological impurities. Plastic and synthetic materials are removed just as effectively as iron parts and stones via various separations. At the end of the process, composting biogenic waste such as green waste or organic waste produces high-quality natural soil conditioners and homogeneous fuels that can be used for thermal utilisation.
