Technology has always been his thing and he is fascinated by big machines – the apprenticeship in mechatronics was the perfect match for Eren Tandogan. „As a mechatronics technician I am versatile, my work combines the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering and information technology. Furthermore, I can develop my own problem solving ideas in the daily routine. This apprenticeship meets all the expectations I have for my future job.“ The certificate of achievement awarded by GLW Velbert, where Eren Tandogan completes the school-related part of his apprenticeship, shows how much this motivates him. GLW recently recognized him for excellent achievements. In a short interview he tells us what his daily routine looks like and where he sees himself in a few years:
Mr. Tandogan, what does your daily routine look like?
“There are various tasks every day from the typical wiring to control panel construction and assembly of mechanical parts. There is no real daily routine.“
What do you like most about your apprenticeship?
“Variety is the best thing about my job.“
What are your plans for the future?
I want to get ahead in my career and hope that Doppstadt gives me the chance to get advanced vocational training in the future. So, I will be able to take my career to the next level.“
