The Polish recycling company Konger faced a tough challenge: processing hardwood logs, roots, and stumps heavily mixed with sand, stones, and other contaminants. Their goal was to produce a clean, precisely sized biomass material at minimal cost and with minimal machine wear. The solution? A three-stage processing setup: pre-shredding, screening, and final shredding. First, the INVENTHOR 9 pre-shredder removes stones and sand from even the toughest woods like logs, roots, and tree stumps – at the lowest cost per ton and with extremely high wear resistance. Next, the screening machine SM 620 takes over, separating out finer materials, stones, and any remaining metals with an optional magnetic roller. Lastly, the AK 640 shredder refines the material to the desired size, delivering contaminant-free biomass. This setup delivers exactly what Konger needs: optimized, clean output material, reduced operational costs, and impressive durability of machine parts – a solution that makes their operations both efficient and cost-effective.
