SUEZ RELIES ON METHOR – AND THAT FOUR TIMES OVER!

The French environmental service provider Suez will compost organic waste for the fruit and vegetable producer Azura in Morocco over a currently agreed period of six years. With our METHOR, we are part of this project.

According to Suez, 116,000 tons of tomato plants are disposed of and processed annually, resulting in, among other things, 42,000 tons of compost output (source: EUWID E-Paper 5/2024). The Azura Group, one of the largest tomato producers in Morocco, relies on the expertise of the environmental company Suez. However, shredding tomato plants presents a very special challenge, as the processed plastic ropes are difficult to shred. Therefore, Suez has been using the METHOR with a diesel engine for 2 years and recently added an additional METHOR with an electric engine. Two more used METHORs will soon be added to the Suez fleet!
